Taverna Toscana, the oldest Italian restaurant in Prague was founded in 1991.
It is located in one of the oldest houses in the historical centre on the Royal Way and about 50 metres away from the Old Town Square.
We offer quality Italian cuisine chef from Tuscany. Enjoy a meal in one of two gothic halls of stone,
or use the summer garden which is part of the oldest square in Prague.
We have prepared a pleasant outdoor seating.
Our restaurant is located in one of the oldest buildings in the historic center called "Richtrův house" on "Royal Route". Taverna Toscana offers its services in a Renaissance hall in the Etruscan room with two different menu. Etruscan Hall is a romantic Gothic cellar with a capacity of approximately 150 seats and offers a wide selection of traditional Italian dishes from Tuscany and especially the right pizza.
In summer months we have open garden in front of a restaurant with 80 seats, where you can enjoy a peaceful environment in view of Prague. The Renaissance hall on the upper floor with 50 comfortable seats, where the kitchen offers the most popular Tuscan cuisine and fresh fish dishes. In the winter season, we also offer a buffet cooked and baked foods.
After a tiring day of sightseeing we had dinner. We were seated downstairs, in a cellar. It was nice and quiet. We had the entire place for ourselves. Our server's name was Vladimir, very friendly. Food was excellent. Restaurant is off the main square.

Had lunch and refretted not having found this place sooner. I felt the need some "soul" food, and found this spot while sightseeing. Upon seeing Linguine con vongole on the menu, i hust had to try it. The pasta was fresh, and home made, the clams were sweet
